The Husqvarna Z242F is a residential zero-turn mower from the Husqvarna Z200 Series, powered by an 18 HP Kawasaki FR Series engine. It features a 42-inch fabricated steel ClearCut cutting deck built with 10-gauge steel and welded reinforcement strips for added durability. The deck offers 6 cutting height settings ranging from 1.5 to 4 inches and supports collecting, mulching, and side-discharge cutting methods.
The mower uses a Hydro-Gear ZT-2200 hydrostatic transmission, delivering a top forward speed of 6.5 mph and a productivity rate of 2.2 acres per hour. It includes a 3.5-gallon side-mounted fuel tank, an electric clutch blade engagement system, and a manually operated deck lift. The operator seat is a high-back vinyl seat with a digital hour meter featuring pre-programmed service intervals.
Overall dimensions are 75 inches in length, 40 inches in height, and 43.5 to 51 inches in width depending on chute position, with a total weight of 551 lbs.
