The Cub Cadet XT2-GX54 is a residential garden tractor powered by a 26 HP Kohler KT726 twin-cylinder cast-iron sleeve engine with a 747cc displacement and electric start. It features a 54-inch heavy-duty fabricated AeroForce cutting deck with QuickAttach tool-free deck attachment, 3 blades, and 12 cutting height positions ranging from 1 to 4 inches. The deck includes a patented SmartJet high-pressure deck washing system and 2-ball/2-ball anti-scalping rollers.

The tractor uses a GT Hydro foot-controlled transmission (Tuff Torq K62 with rear differential lock) housed in cast aluminum, connected to the engine via a heavy-duty belt for smooth, reliable power delivery across varied terrain. It includes a 12V AGM battery with 210 cold-crank amps, a fully robotically-welded frame with e-coating corrosion protection, a heavy-duty cast-iron front axle, disc brakes, and a 16-inch turning radius.
